Alexander Roesner – CFP®, CEPA

Alex serves as a trusted advisor and focuses his efforts on business development, private deal analysis, portfolio analysis, 401k oversight, and investment selection. Alex specializes in working with C-Suite executives holding concentrated stock positions and business owners experiencing liquidity events. He leverages his extensive knowledge in income tax and estate planning to minimize taxable income through a variety of strategies.

Prior to joining Black Diamond Financial, LLC, Alex held positions in wealth management with Merrill Lynch and RMB Capital where he focused on business development, investment selection and financial planning strategies.

Alex holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in economics from the University of Pennsylvania where he played varsity lacrosse. He currently serves as a member of The Loyola Blakefield Development Board Committee and Loyola Blakefield Athletic Board Committee. Alex also serves as a Board Member for the Troy Vance Foundation, is a member of the Living Classrooms Rising Stars Program and enjoys coaching youth lacrosse in his spare time. Alex is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor.
