Alex Roesner serves as a financial advisor to wealthy families and institutional investors. Mr. Roesner specializes in working with executives and business owners experiencing liquidity events. He also leverages his extensive knowledge in income tax and estate planning to minimize tax liabilities through a variety of strategies.

Prior to joining Black Diamond Financial, Mr. Roesner served as a Private Wealth Advisor for a Forbes-ranked private wealth team at Merrill Lynch where his performance consistently differentiated himself from his peers. During his time there, Mr. Roesner focused on strategic initiatives, private investments, investment selection, and exit planning strategies. He was recently selected to the Living Classrooms Rising Stars Program, which recognizes young leaders for their professional achievements and philanthropic commitments.

Mr. Roesner is dedicated to the community. He currently serves as a Board Member for the Troy Vance Foundation and XPX Maryland. In addition, he serves as a member of the Loyola Blakefield Board Development and Athletic Committees, Cristo Rey Leadership Advisory Council, and the Calvert School Banner Society Committee.

Mr. Roesner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in economics from the University of Pennsylvania where he was a Division 1 student-athlete. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Certified Exit Planning Advisor designations.
