Laura McMillen joined the firm in 2013 and serves as Head of the Client Service Specialist Team. In her leadership role, she ensures the firm’s clients’ needs are met in a high-quality, personalized, and timely manner.

Prior to joining Black Diamond Financial, Mrs. McMillen garnered more than a decade of experience in human resources, compensation, recruitment, and benefits administration. In addition, she held an independent sales role where she was responsible for semi-annual quotas, sales reports, and product marketing. 

Mrs. McMillen began her career at McCormick & Company, Inc., working in their Corporate Headquarter’s Human Resources Department. She went on to secure leadership roles at Integrated Health Services and Visa International.

Mrs. McMillen is a graduate of Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources and Marketing.
